PRE-APPRENTICESHIP AND DIRECT ENTRY PROGRAMS

Outside of apprenticeship recruitments, access to apprenticeships may also be obtained through pre-apprenticeship and direct entry programs that offer preparatory and career referral services to low income New Yorkers, public high school students, women, and veterans in the New York City metropolitan area.

Building Works

Housed at the NYC Carpenters Training Center, Building Works recruits and prepares low-income residents for direct entry into union apprenticeships.
